Vivien of Holloway Sarongs are inspired by 1940s starlet Dorothy Lamour, who starred in a number of South Pacific-themed films and musicals back in the Golden Era.
These beautiful Sarong dresses feature a shaped bodice that's boned for a fabulously vintage bullet shape and a nipped-in waist, a supportive halterneck; and a slim-fitting wrap skirt with a carefully draped waterfall ruffle.
They fit and flatter an array of shapes, with the cinch-waist and cleverly-cut skirt perfectly containing your curves, creating them where there are none and concealing any problem areas with ease.
This smooth, medium-weight Cotton Sateen fabric drapes elegantly and has a subtle sheen. This fabric has a slight give. Dress it up with a matching or contrasting bolero and slip on a pair of 40s style platforms for a fabulous retro look that's sure to leave you the talk of the town! Vivien of Holloway are committed to quality and make all of their dresses right here in the UK.
Please check your size very carefully as they are cut on vintage patterns and are therefore usually at least one size smaller than your average high street size.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF
To find your perfect fit just follow these simple instructions.
BUST (1) Please measure around the fullest part of your bust. The style will allow for a couple of inches either way. This is NOT your bra size
WAIST (2) Measure your waist as tight as you can at the smallest point just above the belly button. This is usually the measurement that decides which size you will buy. You can allow for a few inches difference on the bust measurement before you have to deviate from your waist measurement.
HIPS (3) Please measure around the fullest part of your hips.
If you follow these instructions you should be able to find your perfect size. The waist is the most important measurement to take accurately, to ensure a flattering fit.
